Designing a Health and Wellness Program

A transformation is occurring in the field of healthcare that offers an opportunity for professionals who are willing to see things in a new way. The current model of healthcare would be more accurately termed sick care because the focus is solving acute problems, but has little to offer in terms of cultivating the conditions for health.

One of the tenents of the wellness approach is a belief that the body naturally heals and maintains health when the right conditions are presented. Many of the devastating and costly health problems of modern-day would disappear with a preventative health care approach.

“You have the power to heal your life, and you need to know that. We think so often that we are helpless, but we’re not. We always have the power of our minds… claim and consciously use your power.”
— Louise L. Hay

The big problem for natural healthcare providers is the current 1-1 in-office practice model is poorly equipped to support the lifestyle changes often required for people to naturally heal. Running from patient to patient in rapid succession does not provide a reasonable environment to facilitate natual health transformations.

In the previously delivered webinar below, I outline a model for creating group wellness programs that provide the right environment for health transformation. This model is not a replacement for 1-1 in-office care, yet it provides a new framework to help clients achieve health naturally through lifestyle change.
